Principle

m3lytsz keeps personal data only while a documented service, security, contractual, accounting or legal purpose exists. Thirty days is a normal ceiling for ordinary security/abuse telemetry, not a universal legal retention period.

Typical periods

Temporary sessions expire on their configured lifetime; message delivery/encrypted-envelope state is kept only for delivery/synchronisation needs; active account/device credentials remain while needed; moderation/support cases are kept only for justified case handling; tax/accounting data follows applicable statutory periods.

Legal holds

A preservation or legal hold must be specific, documented, access-restricted and reviewed. When the purpose ends, data is deleted, put beyond use or irreversibly anonymised.

Prohibited retention purposes

m3lytsz does not retain personal data for behavioural advertising, data brokerage or unrelated model training.
